Why We Exist
Too many people are shut out of creative life. We exist to change that.
Connected Through Art CIC provides inclusive, community-based creative arts activities for disabled artists, older people, and anyone who faces barriers to taking part in mainstream arts. Through open studio sessions, facilitated workshops, and collaborative projects, we create welcoming spaces where people can make, grow, and connect.
Our activities support wellbeing, reduce isolation, and build confidence — while strengthening community cohesion by ensuring that creative and cultural life is open to everyone, regardless of ability, background, or circumstance.
Our Mission
Our Promise
We promise that everyone who walks through our doors will be welcomed, respected, and valued — exactly as they are.
We will always prioritise access, inclusion, and equality in everything we do. We will listen to the people we work with, adapt our activities to meet their needs, and ensure that no one is turned away because of disability, background, age, or circumstance.
